Microsoft narrowly escapes early release of Yukon
Well kinda.......
As mentioned by Don Kiely on sqljunkies.com, congress passed a bill to extend Daylight Savings Time. There was a provision to start the new extension this fall. This means that the clocks would not be set back one hour that final weekend in October which would have brought the release of Yukon one hour earlier.
I like Daylight Savings Time. I get so depressed when it is dark in the AM when heading out to work and dark when you head home. I love the summer time when everyone is out until 8pm. It was a blast in Iceland in June when at 2am it looked like twilight.
Virtual Earth was released with Apple missing..... Was it on purpose? I don't think so.... Unless there is some type of iPod plot to rule PCs. I first heard about Virtual Earth about 2 months ago on Channel 9. There is a new video on Virtual Earth at http://channel9.msdn.com/
