I don't like start.com so much...

...at least for the refer footprint it leaves in this blog's referrer records. Why? Well, here's example:

http://start.com/default.aspx

Now compare that to a typical Google BlogSearch footprint:

http://google.com/search?hl=en&q=xquery+versus+python&btng=google+search

or even the "classic" google search:

http://google.com.au/search?q=learn+to+learning+problems+solving+fight+fighter&hl=en&lr=&ie=utf-8&st

And yes, people like me really do care about stuff like that. Why? Because it tells us, at least indirectly what people are interested in. With Start, I've got, well, even less of clue than before. Maybe they'll chance this going forward. I hope so.
