...letting the next cat of the bag...
The Holiday Inn West Des Moines University Park will host the first annual Heartland Developers Conference on December 3rd, 2004. The conference will be a full day of sessions spread over 2 tracks: .NET Today and .NET Tomorrow. Lunch will be provided and there will be wireless connectivity throughout the conference area. At only $18, the conference is a no brainer for developers located in the regional area and beyond. Come and learn new techniques on current technology and get up to speed on the next generation development platform coming down the pipe from Microsoft: .NET 2.0.
Come early for a chance to network with the region's top .NET developers and enthusiats. There will be a developer networking party in the attached hotel restaurant. This is a chance to meet some of the speakers and many other technology professionals using Microsoft development technologies today. With a convienent location attached to the hotel, attendees can take advantage of the $99 room rate and be ready to go for the key note on Friday morning. This pre-conference event is the biggest networking event for regional developers.
The first annual Heartland Developers Conference is brought to you by the Heartland Developers Network, a group of .NET user groups accross Iowa, Minnestoa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The user groups are sponsored by Microsoft and INETA and offer developers key resources to maintain a high level of knowledge within the .NET technology space. All our user groups are free of charge to anyone interested from students to experienced professionals. Most groups meet monthly for networking, a presentation, and a prize give away.
I'm very happy that great speakers like SQLJunkies own Robert Hurbut and “the legend” Rocky Lhotka are join us. Subscribe to my hdc2004 feed for up-to-the-minute information on this event.
