Announcing GoSQLServer.org

Well, time to set another Cat free...

I'm pleased to announce the formation of the Greater Omaha SQL Server Users' Group (or just GoSQLServer). If you remember what seems like a thousand years ago now, I mentioned that Luke Schollmeyer and I kicked around ideas for getting the local community aware of SQL Server 2005. With the help of Sudhir Gajre of Microsoft and Daniel Vansteenburg of Sogeti USA, we're officially underway. Our first meeting will be on October 19th. Details on the website linked-to above.

I can't say enough how rewarding community efforts are for everybody that participates. If you're within a reasonable driving distance of Omaha, we'd sure love to have join our group.

Afterall, we must bridge the Yukon together.
