...how do I put InkControls on WinForms with Whibdey?
...what can do with the captured ink in terms of data storage?
...where's all the cool stuff with LoneStar now that I've installed SP2?
Those are the questions that I'm going to explore with the new addition to my home network: An Acer TravelMate C100. Its not much on the horse power, but hey at least the Whidbey B1, YukonB2 and Office bits run on it. And its been great in presentations, although I do have the tendency to go "John Madden" with it. BOOM! Right up the Middle!
Had my annual employee review at HDR today, and generally speaking, it went better than I thought it should have. I did come of out of it with a list of priorities to work on for the next year:
- Borrowed from the "7-Habits" framework: Keep seeking first to understand, then to be understood.
- When engaging in conflict resolution (technical or otherwise), keep asking "is it imperative and worthwhile to win this fight today?" and "do I really need to win at all?"
- Do a better job of accepting that "good enough" really is good enough.
- Improve my skills with developing and using Test Scripts and other testing tools
- Write meaningful and effective Project Charters.
