There may be a geek dinner before hand or some malty beverages afterward. I see that Gomer's South is relatively close (the next best beer heaven to BevMo) so I'll just have to make a there too.

It's bitter in places and almost entirely self-indulging. You've been warned, umkay? I feel strangely liberated after a three car pile-up, thanks to the Car Of Faith.
Over on SSWUG's Reporting Services Mailing list, folks keep asking when this book will be coming out. When I spoke to Mr. Vaughn about it at Tech-Ed a couple weeks back, he noted that they were putting the finishing touches on the book. I pinged him again this morning about it. He reports that all is on track and that the publisher is shooting for an August (2004) release of the book. He also mentioned that you can download the first chapters of the book from its supporting web site: http://www.sqlreportingservices.net/.
Bill's deep understanding of Microsoft Data Access technologies and Peter's excellent writing style have had me looking forward to this book for months. I'm especially looking forward to the "ShowMe" videos. I'm glad to see its very close to being a reality. Just don't expect to see "Don't Panic" printed in large friendly letters on the cover.
Yet another doughnut lover blogs about of shared pastry obsession.
Wait. I'm getting it. OH MY GOD!
