Okay, so, I'm curious as to what my faithful readers would say. Who should the Channel 9 folks strap-down in a chair and shoot an interview with? What questions would you ask them (both serious and not-so serious)? Should DotNetJunkies and SqlJunkies consider doing something like that?
My choices (in no particular order): Michael Rys, Andrew Cencini, Bryan Keller, Mark Fussell, Josh Allen, Dare Obasanjo, KC Lemmson.
- Given the ability to do so, what one thing would you magically undo about the .NET framework but can't?
- Will people really latch on to XQuery as much as they have SQL?
- Where do you see System.XML going after Whidbey?
- What's the single most important thing you've learned working on Whidbey and/or Yukon?
- What's the most interesting question a customer has ever asked you?
- Who influences your technology thinking the most?
- Why are man hole covers round? (or any other infamous MS interview questions)
- Assume Microsoft didn't exist. What would you be doing now?
- What's the funniest thing you ever seen at Microsoft?
- Where do you want to go tomorrow? (that is, what do see the big picture being in 2010)
- How would the industry be different if the FTC managed to break up Microsoft?
- Ginger or Mary Ann? (or for KC, the Professor, the Skipper or Gilligan?)
I've just had a nice chat with Scoble about another idea for Channel 9. I'll post that in the morning...

Line of the day: Who loses money? The clients who buy the hyped products, or fall for the huge consulting price tags due to FUD or the overall hype of SOA.
Post of the day: SOA, dollar signs and trust boundaries
Special 300th post-a-versary shout-out of thanks to Donny and for letting run my mouth keyboard so insistently on SQLJunkies! Atomic Consulting Rocks!
Luke,The man who insisted that we name our procedures procSomethingMeaningful, has his own blog. May be he saw my derivative 49 truths post and decide he show me how do that correctly.

I am humbly thankful for your lesson, Sqlji...
