Take Outs for 31 March 2004

Taken out today: March in review, top posters, top post.

The counts: Blogging: 2; Development: 6; Other: 12; SQL: 9; WILY: 3

Line of the day: I mentioned at lunch that there was a chance that my code might have booked the flights of the attendees. Plauger nodded and mentioned another item that was in the news: "Our software just landed on Mars." Point, set, and match to Dr. Plauger.

Post of the day: XML Best Practices for Microsoft SQL Server "Yukon"

Comments I just don't get

The following comment just appeared in this post.

wilbon,
I have a sure fire way for the Chicago Cubs to reverse the cures. either keep a goat in the dugout, or change their names to the "Chicago Goats" Hummmmm!

Problem I'm obviously not Wilbon (he's got way better hair) and the post had nothing to do with the Cubs (which I really don't have any strong feelings about either way.)

I've had another curious comment of late, but I'm leaving that one around. I'm wondering if this is script kiddies or somebody else tagging us for future tinkering.

Sorry, Benny, try a different sandwich
