Brent, who recently left HDR, and I had an interesting relationship. As much as we agreed about certain things, it seemed like we found ourselves on different sides in the end. He's now considering which opportunity to pursue next. One of them is a Linux Consultantancy. He'd be good at that, I think. He's passionate about things and has the conviction to stand fast to his ideals. Either way, I'm confident he'll make a good go of things.
As Mike recently pointed out, the Omaha IT community is indeed a small world. I'm sure we'll have fun butting heads again.
