No, this isn't going to be one of those “C++ is evil, you should use C# instead” posts. Hopefully people get the clue now that each stands on its own merits. Yes, C++ is evil. But its a good kind of evil, like listening to Megadeth at maximum volume when you're writing C++.
It is a post, however, asking if this is standard behavior. On Friday, I needed to whip up a little bit of a C++ shell program for our TechServices folks to test Certificate Services. Now when I try to start a new VB.NET or C# project, Solution explorer has just a Solution element -- no project elements. What's up with that? I'm trying a repair to see if it does.
