Take Outs for 24 April 2004

I Am (lazy) Cat

3:30 AM - Go to sleep
8:30 AM - Wake up, check e-mail, read blogs, watch FoodTV for a while, give up on that, watch Garden of Evil.
10:30 AM - Cuddle with Janell and watch Ina Garten
11:00 AM - Raining, cold. Go to Quiznos and grab up Smoke Turkey (for me) and Italian Combo (for Janell)
1:00 PM - Go nap
3:30 PM - Wake up, check e-mail, read blogs
5:00 PM - Janell shaves my beard off leaving me with a Goatie. Says I look 10 years younger.
7:00 PM - (estimated) Head out to the Cresant Moon

I'm so looking forward to next week. I should be able to get some actual work done then Thursday afternoon, I'm flying up to the Twin Cities to hang with Microsoft for a ConCall with the SQLCLR PM. If you have questions you like me to throw out, you know where to reach me. On Friday, I'll make the drive over to Black River Falls. Planning a stop at Summit Brewery and maybe Sand Creek on the way down. So, that means no Take Outs on 4/29 through 5/2..

I'm planning on taking SQL Tunning and Moon in a Dew Drop for a reading. If I happen on a copy of Soseki's I Am Cat, I might take that on to.

Iron Chef America: Flay vs Sakai Otherwise I think this guy and I must have been watching two different shows. There wasn't enough coverage of the food for me.
Go Back to Japan Otherwise I more agree with this: Iron Chef is not about food. It's about fetish.
Iron Chef America Otherwise This one I completely agree with: His food looked like food porn.
Book time yet again. Is the world ready for a bunch of Whidbey books? Otherwise I so felt this way a couple of years ago. I'm not excitied about Whidbey books exactly yet.
24 Apr 2004: Defining the Game Otherwise Everybody in the XAML space needs to read this, I think, and see what the folks on the other OS are thinking.
The CLR in Yukon WILY Really good summary of a lot the "Yukon means the end of the middle tier" postings.

As always: your feedback is welcome below as a comment.
