Getting Sharepoint to like Yukon Reporting Services
I was trying to install Team Foundation server on a fresh VPC with SQL 2005 April CTP. It needed Sharepoint services as a prerequisite, so i downloaded that and installed it, but it didn't seem to play well with SQL reporting services. After Googling, i found this list of helpful points to get back on track: http://wss.collutions.com/Lists/FAQ/DispForm.aspx?ID=250 Also, i changed Sharepoint to only use .NET fx 1.1, since it didn't seem to like being set to .NET fx 2.0. Hope this helps somebody else that gets stuck on this.

"Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth"
Guess I'll start off with a Dandy Warhols reference... :)

First I wanted to thank Donny Mack for getting me started here on SqlJunkies.

I'll be moving over some of my content from my Blogger account, and keep my technical posts here on SqlJunkies.

I decided to start a blog on SqlJunkies because of the great set of people already here... Michael Rys, Kent Tegels, Don Kiely... folks that have had really interesting blog postings on Yukon and other SQL issues.

I plan to talk about issues with bleeding-edge MSFT technologies: Yukon, Whidbey, etc. I've been working with Whidbey and Yukon for the last 3-4 months, and have experienced the highs and lows of using the early betas and CTPs, but i've still made a lot of progress with rewriting our platform from scratch in .NET 2.0 and based on Yukon.

I hope to pass along any tidbits of knowledge i find along the way, and workarounds for any glitches with the dev tools.

Thanks for having me here...
