Brian Moran on XP SP2 and SQL Server

Brian's got a very helpful piece, XP SP2 and SQL Server, up on SQL Server Magazine. It addresses, as you'd expect, applying XP SP2 to a machine that hosts a SQL Server instance. He's aggregated links to a lot of the service pack release KB articles that touch on SQL issues, so you can do some research here if you are working on an XP SP2 testing or deployment project.
