Brian Lawton has a good article on what he calls the "hidden gems" in SQL Server 2000, Buried Treasure in Your Backyard, up on the SQL Server Magazine site. In it, he disusses some of the really useful yet often underutilized features that are available in this version. I love that he calls out DTS, which I think is overlooked too often. The only thing I'd add (if you are running Enterprise Edition) is indexed views. So, read, enjoy, and maybe discover a better way to address some of your current processes or development tasks.
